The RED criterion for fatigue life assessment of metals under non-proportional loading

چکیده
In the present paper, a novel criterion for fatigue life assessment of engineering components under multiaxial low-cycle regime is proposed. The criterion, named Refined Equivalent Deformation (RED) allows to take into account, when load non-proportional, strength decrease experimentally observed those metals sensitive non-proportionality. applied two different (304 stainless steel and 6061 aluminum alloy) characterised by non-proportional sensitivities. accuracy such compared with other criteria available in literature.
